Tracy A. Rosenbaum, D.O.

Family Medicine

Dr. Tracy Rosenbaum completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Pennsylvania in 1991 and received her medical degree from Nova Southeastern University College of Osteopathic Medicine in 1995. She completed residency in 1999 and subsequently joined the staff at Albany Area Primary Health Care.

Gowdie, Stalina, MD AAPHC Family Provider

Stalina Gowdie, M.D.

Dr. Stalina Cine’-Gowdie just recently joined AAPHC, but she has been in the Albany area for several years as she completed her training in Family Medicine with the Southwest Georgia Family Medicine Residency Program. Dr. Gowdie graduated from Ross University with her degree in medicine in 2007. Prior to completing residency, she completed her Master’s in Public Health at New York Medical College completing this course work in 2009. Coming from Montreal, Canada Dr. Gowdie speaks fluent French as well. She is married to Donovan Gowdie, a podiatrist for AAPHC and they have one daughter. In her spare time she enjoys reading, exercising, and travelling.

Sein, Michael, D.O. AAPHC Family Provider

Michael Sein, D.O.

Family Medicine

Dr. Michael Sein has been practicing medicine here at AAPHC since 1999. He is a graduate of Nova Southeastern Medical School in Florida and completed residency training at St. Vincent Medical Center in Jacksonville, Florida. Dr. Sein is Board certified in Family Medicine and is an adjunct faculty member at the Southwest Georgia Family Medicine Residency Program in Albany. He thoroughly enjoys being actively involved with teaching resident physicians as well as medical students.

Polsinelli, Alexander, PA-C AAPHC Family Provider

Alexander Polsinelli, PA-C

Family Medicine

Born and raised in Georgia, Alex Polsinelli completed his medical training at South University in Savannah, Georgia in 2011 after graduating from Armstrong Atlanta State University (also in Savannah) in 2008. This is where he also met his wife, Allison. He is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the Georgia Association of Physician Assistants. He enjoys spending time with his wife and their dog in his spare time.

Beth Webb, FNP-C

Family Medicine

After obtaining her Master of Science in Nursing, Beth Webb joined AAPHC part time to maintain her clinical skills at the Dooly County Community Health Center Location in 2012. She is also the Clinical Services Coordinator for Georgia Southwestern State University in Americus, Georgia. Prior to obtaining her Nurse Practitioner degree, Mrs. Webb received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2004 from Georgia Southwestern. She worked as an emergency room nurse from 2004-2009 before moving to the academic setting. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her husband and their children.

Womack, James Arthur, PA-C AAPHC Family Provider

James Arthur Womack, PA-C

Joining the Air Force in 1969, Jim Womack became interested in medicine as a career and upon discharge he attended Emory University and received his degree in 1975. He worked as a physician assistant in Virginia and Oklahoma before relocating to Albany and joining the staff of AAPHC in 1984. Mr. Womack is currently the Chairperson of the Midlevel Department for AAPHC. He also teaches part-time for the EMS program at the local community college – Darton State College. Jim is a past recipient of the AAPA and GAPA Rural Physician Assistant of the Year and a Distinguished Fellow of the American Academy of Physician Assistants. He is an active Deacon in his church (Sherwood Baptist Church) and enjoys spending time with his family whenever he can.

Ard, Matthew, PA-C AAPHC Family Provider

Matthew Ard, PA-C

Family Medicine

Born in Tallahassee, FL, Matt Ard completed his undergraduate training at Florida State University before moving to Virginia to further his education. He completed his training at Jefferson College of Health Sciences in 2007 and is currently working on his Master’s degree. Mr. Ard joined AAPHC in 2007 and is currently Clinic Director of the South Albany Medical Center location. He enjoys spending time with his wife and their three children, In his spare time he enjoys gardening and adding to the menagerie of animals they have on their property. He also enjoys medical mission work and community involvement activities.

Ronald Maurice Malcolm, PA-C

Family Medicine

A former military officer, Mr. Ron Malcolm joined the AAPHC family in 1989 as a Physician Assistant. He was in the Air Force from 1978 to 1982 and a reservist from 1989 until 2010. Mr. Malcolm completed his initial physician assistant degree in 1984 but obtained his Master’s in Physician Assistant Studies from the University of Nebraska in 1997. He has a special interest in wellness initiatives and employee health promotions. Ron is married and he and his wife have two children.

Trivette, Sara, PA-C AAPHC Family Provider

Sara Trivette, PA-C

Family Medicine

Sara Trivette was born and raised in Kansas City, MO. She completed undergraduate studies at Truman State University in Kirksville, MO studying health sciences. She obtained her Masters in Physician Assistant Studies at the University of Iowa, graduating in 2006. She moved to Albany in August of 2006 as a National Health Service Corp Scholar. She was accompanied by her husband who teaches in the Lee County School System. She has worked in pediatrics, internal medicine and infectious disease since 2006.

Sharlann Trussell, APRN, MSN, BC, NP-C

Family Medicine

Starting out as an LPN in 1979, Sharlann Trussell has developed her career based on her love of helping others and wanting to provide the best possible care to her community. She graduated from Albany State University with her Masters of Science in Nursing and Family Nurse Practitioner Certification.

Stevenson, Stephanie, PA-C AAPHC Family Provider

Stephanie Stevenson, PA-C

Family Medicine

Stephanie Stevenson had a social service background prior to obtaining her certification as a Physician Assistant from Duke University in 1994. She joined AAPHC in 1994 and after a brief departure in 2000, She has remained with AAPHC. Ms. Stevenson enjoys her work with our patient population and in her spare time she loves spending time with friends and my dogs. She also enjoy singing in her church choir. Stephanie enjoys trying to teach patients about their illnesses, self-help measures, medications, and tests requested so that they can participate in the decision-making process for their illnesses.
